Dear friends, Willy is doing better and better day by day with his stiffened paw💞 I am very proud of his progress, because not long ago the poor guy was not able to take even one step on his own😊😊.
In addition, the kitten gets along very well with other cats and is very friendly and loving himself. You can see from him that he longs for love, care and warmth, which he lacked so much when he was living on the street 💞

Dear friends, Willy had another visit today, the infection has decreased, the eyes no longer pus, and less and less is pouring from the nose. Unfortunately, the paw does not look good. It has become inflamed. The cat has to take another antibiotic. I also have to restrict him from walking 😞
He is not happy about it, but there is no other choice. We have to do everything to save Willy’s paw. The next appointment is scheduled for Thursday. Keep your fingers crossed for this little one.

Dear friends, despite several complications and problems along the way, the doctors have finally managed to perform the surgery that Willy needed. The kitten is feeling better and better and his condition is slowly improving. He is getting better at breathing, and his eyes are no longer tearing and festering so much. On the occasion of the surgery, he was also neutered.
Unfortunately, due to the severe infection that set in before I found him, the kitten has to be isolated from the rest of the pets. Keep your fingers crossed that this little one will recover as soon as possible😊

Yesterday Willy was scheduled to have surgery on his paw and hip. I drove him to the clinic at 11, and at 3pm I got a call that there was a power outage on site that prevented the surgery from taking place.
Willy was very stressed by the flashing light. The doctor moved the surgery to today and the kitten has been in the clinic since this morning. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen again and the little one will make it to the operating table. Keep your fingers crossed for him.

Dear friends, Willy is already after the initial examination at the doctor.
An x-ray showed yet another fracture. In addition to the paw, the hip is also fractured. If the cat’s condition allows it, the surgery will be performed on Sunday. Willy has daily nebulization at the clinic which also helps him a lot.
Thanks to your kindness, we were able to raise enough funds for the entire treatment of the kitten, so in addition to the necessary treatments, medications and surgeries, there will probably also be enough for his subsequent neutering. In truth, I don’t know how I can thank you for all this. I am very grateful to you.
Now Willy is already in the good hands of specialists and it remains to wait for further developments. The kitten is still not in the best condition, but I hope that everything will go our way and our poor boy will not have to suffer further. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped raise money for Willie’s surgery and treatment! Thanks to you, this terribly harmed kitty will have a chance to recover. Tomorrow, after the visit to the clinic, I will give you more information about Willie’s condition and the planned date of the operation. Thanks again to each and every one of you!

Willy hid in a stinking dumpster, in a dark corner among empty cans and broken bottles. He sits quietly, hoping that no one will see him here. Because Willy knows very well what can happen when a human sees him.
Man means pain and fear, Willy has always known that. Nevertheless, when he was hungry he sometimes approached people, never knowing what he would get this time – a punch, a kick or a bowl of food.
This time, instead of the food he had hoped for, he received a blow so hard that the pain nearly rendered him unconscious. Nevertheless, he managed to escape and took refuge here in the dark stinking dumpster. Only that one of his paws hurts terribly and doesn’t want to listen to him at all, it is completely numb.
When Willy tries to get up, the pain becomes even worse and he falls back to the ground. Willy knows that even if he wanted to, if the bad guy came after him all the way here, he won’t be able to escape. Therefore, huddled in the darkest corner, he tries to be completely invisible and breathes quickly and loudly out of fear.
When I came, alerted by people in the neighborhood, Willy had already been sitting here for at least 24 hours, and maybe longer. Despite his fear, he ate greedily the food I brought him. I think the food made him stop being so afraid of me. He probably understood that I didn’t want to hurt him. Or maybe he just didn’t have the strength to run away anymore? In any case, he allowed himself to be touched, and then lifted gently and put into the box.
Only when I picked Willie up did I see that one of his hind legs was broken. It’s an open fracture, with the bone sticking out completely. The wound is very dirty, full of sand and small pebbles, stuck to the flesh and to the protruding bone. I don’t even want to think how terribly Willy must be suffering!
I took Willie to the clinic. After an examination, the doctor found that Willie’s entire body is painful and the marks indicate that the kitten has been a victim of violence many times and for a long time. Some of the marks are old, others are completely fresh. It is likely that Willy was kicked or hit with some hard object on a regular basis many times.
Willy, will you ever forgive people for what they did to you?
The fracture is very serious and inflammation is already developing in and around the wound. To put the bone back together, a complicated operation is necessary. It must be carried out as soon as possible, because such a fracture puts so much strain on the body that Willy may not survive. Only that at the moment, due to Willy’s general condition, it is not possible. The kitten has a severe respiratory and eye infection, in addition to being very weakened. His condition is not stable and Willy might not survive the operation.
The doctor cleaned the wound externally, administered intravenous medication and hydration. He ordered steroid nebulization twice a day, and as soon as Willie’s condition stabilizes, paw surgery will have to be performed.
Of course, money is needed for the operation. The doctor made the first visit to the clinic on credit, but I already have to pay for the next visits.
I implore you to help the suffering, harmed by people Willie!
