Dear friends, thanks to your help Susan was able to take treatment and her condition is improving significantly day by day. Her eyes are already in much better condition, but there is still inflammation that needs to be treated before the eyelid surgery.
At first glance, you can see from Susan that she is already feeling better. She is more active and has regained her appetite. Her new friend Bobik ❤ is helping her throughout the healing process.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Susan!!! We have the money needed for treatment!
Now it’s all in the hands of the doctors – keep your fingers crossed that it will be possible to save Susan’s sight, if not completely then at least to some extent. Tomorrow first thing in the morning I have another appointment at the clinic. I will keep you updated on how the situation of this little kitty is going. Thank you again for your big hearts!

The tiny kitten, Susan, lies on the sidewalk and wags her head helplessly around. She tilts her head as if to hear who is approaching her. She doesn’t look directly at me, and when I come closer, I see Susan’s cloudy, half-open eyes and I already understand. Susan is blind.
The kitty’s eyelids are swollen and seem to be too small, so that she is unable to close her eyes completely. Yellow pus collects under the eyelids. Is all this the result of some disease? Or a genetic defect? I can’t judge. But surely a blind baby will not survive alone on the street. That’s why I take Susan, shaking with fear, immediately to the clinic.
After initial examinations, the doctor diagnosed baby Susan with a bacterial eye infection that has invaded the eyeballs and eyelids.
The infection is advanced, necrosis has already set in. There are cavities in the eyelids, making Susan unable to even close her eyes.
But there is also good news. Susan’s eyes are responding to light. The doctor says that the most important thing is to fight the infection immediately. Then it may be possible to at least partially save Susan’s eyesight.
The doctor gave Susan strong painkillers, because necrosis in the eyes causes terrible pain. In addition, Susan was given an intravenous antibiotic and a strengthening drip. But that’s all I was able to get for Susan on credit. And at the moment Susan has to have an IV antibiotic and a painkiller twice a day. As soon as the infection is under control, the kitty must have surgery to fill in the defects in her eyelids so that she is able to close her eyes.
All of this is something the doctors won’t do on credit anymore. Before each subsequent visit, I must already have money. And Susan can’t wait. I am very much asking for your help.
