Miki-a true white wonder! ❤
This adorable male cat has passed his way to health and is now enjoying life to the fullest. He is a happy, sociable little guy who loves both people and other cats. He’s a real cuddler – eager to cuddle with his feline friends and always looking for human contact.
Miki also has his own little rituals – one of them is sleeping on the balcony, where he can relax and watch the world. With his gentle and affectionate nature, he brings a lot of warmth and love into our cat home 🥰.

Today Miki was visited by Yume! 🌸 Yume is a 9-year-old girl who loves cats with all her heart. Unfortunately, she can’t have her own kitty at home, but every moment she spends with Miki and our other fosters is a great joy for her. ❤
Miki is already feeling better and better! 🐾 His favorite place to sleep is Yume’s lap – there he finds the peace and warmth he needs.
Maldivian children like Yume are a real opportunity for cats. Their love for animals and willingness to help show that there is a growing young generation of defenders of our furry friends. 🌱💚
Each such visit is a step towards building a world full of empathy and care for animals. Together we can do more!

Miki is now out of surgery! The little one is feeling well and has already returned back to my house. For now he has to spend time in a carrier, but it seems that he doesn’t mind. In a few days he will be able to move to a bigger pen.
Dear friends, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your help! Thanks to you this tiny male cat got a chance for a new life ❤️. Today was a very stressful day for me – I was afraid for Mikie’s life, but now I am overjoyed that he is safe now and it will only get better.

Tiny Miki was lying alone in the middle of the sidewalk, suffering immensely. The poor male cat could not walk on his own. His back paws dragged behind him in a desperate attempt to find shelter. After several unsuccessful attempts to escape, he had probably already lost hope. Now he just lay on the sidewalk and meowed quietly.
All the passersby passed him as if he was invisible. No one even looked in the direction of the little guy. And yet it was obvious at a glance that the kitten was in critical condition! Why didn’t anyone help him!
It is likely that Miki spent the whole night on the cold sidewalk. Maybe he fell off one of the balconies of a nearby apartment building? I tried to question the residents, but everyone claimed to know nothing. Is it fear of liability and medical costs? Or was his fall not an unfortunate accident at all and someone wanted to get rid of the “problem”?
I couldn’t leave him there. I gently took him in my arms and immediately drove him to the veterinary clinic. I knew that Miki had to get into the care of a doctor as soon as possible. The whole way the kitten was quietly whimpering in pain and I had tears in my eyes. I was afraid that it would soon be too late.
At the clinic, I learned that it was just a two-month-old baby – still a baby!
The doctor took x-rays and the diagnosis was devastating: both hind legs are broken, the pelvis is fractured. In addition, Miki is extremely emaciated, has scabies and ringworm. It’s a miracle he’s still alive.
The kitten has been given painkillers to alleviate his suffering at least a little. However, this is only a temporary solution. The broken paws need to be stiffened, and the fractured pelvis needs urgent surgery to prevent permanent damage and disability.
Doctors are giving Miki a chance to be saved, but the cost of treatment will be huge. I have spent what I had on the first visit, X-ray and pain medications, but there is nothing more I can do for him on my own.
I have very little time to raise the necessary funds, because the operation must take place as soon as possible. I know everyone has other things on their mind right now, but we must at least try to help him. This little baby has been left all alone in this world and now has only us. Only together can we help him.
Please, don’t be indifferent. For Miki, every penny is worth a lifetime.
