A short story of a white kitten called Kimchi🐈

Dear friends, I would like to tell you the story of a certain lovely white kitten.
Kimchi – because that’s what I call him now – has been with me for several weeks now. Before that, he had a different caretaker and was named Wolf.
One day I got a call from the receptionist at our clinic. She said that a cat had been abandoned at their place. The owner had left him after deworming him because he thought the bill was too high. He simply ran away, turned off the phone, and Kimchi was left alone. Unfortunately, the clinic does not have the capacity to keep animals for long, so we were asked to help.
I couldn’t refuse… This domestic kitty would have had no chance on the street. And that was exactly his fate, if no one had picked him up.
Kimchi had skin fungus and scabies – he required treatment, care and isolation from my other cats. We began the fight for his health and safety.
After some time, the clinic contacted me again – I heard from the owner, he declared to pay the bill and demanded the return of the cat. But how to give the animal back to someone who abandons it without blinking an eye? Who leaves them sick and frightened at the clinic? I didn’t want to do it, but I drove Kimchi back.
In the evening, the receptionist called me – the owner had disappeared again. He didn’t answer the phone and didn’t show up to pick up the cat. And so it remained.
Today Kimchi is safe with me. He has recovered, and his fur, which had to be shaved on his back, has already started to grow back. He is beautiful again – and above all: loved.
