Meet Poli and Kobi – Two out of four kittens that I found some time ago.

Dear friends, do you remember the four tiny ginger kittens that came into my care?
Let me introduce you to two of them – the adorable Poli and her brother Kobi 🥰 They are inseparable siblings who complement each other perfectly – they sleep, play, and support each other.
Unfortunately, as you probably remember, one of the girls could not be saved… She passed away despite all efforts 😢. The other boy was luckier – he was adopted by our wonderful friends and is now enjoying life in a safe home.
Poli and Kobi are kittens with wonderful personalities – gentle, sociable, craving affection and human closeness. Unfortunately, their typically Maldivian beauty means that they have not yet found homes…
When I look at their little exotic faces, I see a piece of the Maldives in them – the fairy-tale Maldives that tourists admire, and the real Maldives, hidden behind the curtain of beautiful beaches…

It is with great sadness that I want to inform you that the smallest of my kittens, Moli, who bravely fought against diarrhea, has passed away….
Despite intensive treatment, care and concern, it was not possible to save this tiny creature. Her body was too weak, and the disease attacked too hard.
These are always the most difficult moments for me – when, despite all efforts, we lose the fight for life.
Thank you for your support, which allows us to save another feline existence. Every penny, every sharing – is real help for those who will not ask for it themselves.

The little ones are feeling better and better every day – they play, play around and eat every meal with appetite. Their metamorphosis is thanks to your support and the treatment they underwent after they were found sick and abandoned.
Unfortunately, the smallest of the girls is still struggling with persistent diarrhea. She is very tiny and much weaker than her siblings, but she is bravely fighting and I am doing everything I can to help her.
Keep your fingers crossed for her – we believe she too will catch up soon.

Four little ones are bravely fighting for health. In three of them the diarrhea has almost completely disappeared, unfortunately, one little girl is still weak.
Fortunately, the implemented treatment is bearing fruit – the kitten, although the smallest of the litter, has an appetite and is responding well to therapy. Perhaps her body simply needs more time to gain strength.
The kittens are sleeping a lot, but they are starting to play with each other more and more often – and this is a very good sign that they will soon be healthy and playful kittens.
Dear friends, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for saving these babies. There is nothing more beautiful than saving the life of a defenseless being.

Left to die…
I don’t know how you can look at helpless, tiny creatures and decide they don’t deserve to live. I don’t know how one can throw them away like garbage… and walk away. Because only a monster can leave four cat babies to certain death.
I received a phone call from an employee at the landfill. He just said: “There are kittens crying here… someone left them in a box…”. I dropped everything and went. I had no idea what I would see – but what I found broke my heart. I found them quickly. They were crying so loudly… their tiny voices were full of pain and despair.
There were four kittens lying in a cardboard box. On a dirty, feces-soaked rag. Next to them – a few grains of dry food, which was uneatable for them anyway. They were hungry, chilled, sick and scared because they were taken from their mother….
Each of them had a belly bloated from diarrhea, their fur sticking together from their own feces. Such little ones… in such terrible pain. I took them immediately and drove to the clinic. The doctor did not hesitate for a moment – she immediately started treatment. I knew that if we did not react immediately, they simply would not survive.
One of the kittens is in critical condition. It is not even a month old yet, and it has already gone through hell. It is very weak, has difficulty maintaining its body temperature, and won’t eat on its own. Every few hours it needs to be re-warmed, fed with a syringe, and watched to see if it is still breathing at all. The other three also need intensive treatment. The kittens are dehydrated, devastated by severe diarrhea and starvation. Their tiny bodies no longer have reserves from which to draw strength.
Each of them must receive daily drips – intravenous and subcutaneous, antibiotics, anti-diarrheal drugs, liver and stomach supplements. In addition, they have to be fed specialized milk and veterinary food designed for critically ill kittens. I watch them fade away on the one hand, and on the other – how they fight, despite everything. How much they want to live.
But I can’t handle the cost of their treatment alone. Their lives depend on whether I can raise the funds to continue their treatment. I beg you to help me save these cat children. Abandoned, harmed, but they haven’t lost their chance yet. Their life has just begun – let’s not let it end so soon.
Every penny is another day for them. Every help is a chance that one day they could fall asleep no longer in pain, but safely – in the arms of a man who will love them.
