Blossom is my most cuddly cat 😻
May 9, 2025
Blossom is the most cuddly cat you can imagine. She loves to be close to a human – she doesn’t even move an inch away and demands stroking all the time. Even when I try to work at the computer, Blossom puts her head under my hand, as if to say: “Hey, I’m more important than your work!”
Her story has not been an easy one. She underwent major surgery and then a long rehabilitation. But Blossom is a true fighter – today she is healthy and happy. The hind paw paresis she struggled with is now barely noticeable.
She is not only a beautiful, but also an extremely smart cat. Affectionate, gentle, full of love. Whoever meets her falls in love from the first purr.

Blossom is now out of surgery.
She was very weak for the last few days and I was very afraid for her, but today she is much better. The kitten still has to be in a diaper, but the doctor said she should have no problem controlling her physiological needs❤️ This is what I worry about the most, because it will reduce the chances of Blossom being adopted😞 Despite her wonderful character and great love for humans, she may not find the home she deserves.
Keep your fingers crossed for this little kitty ❤️ Along with Blossom, I also thank everyone who supported the kitty❤️ I am very, very grateful to you for your help ❤️

My Dears, thank you very much for helping Blossom!
With a joint effort, we raised most of the amount needed. The rest, fortunately, I was able to borrow. Blossom is already in the clinic and will be operated on in a moment! Keep your fingers crossed for her that everything works out, and I will keep you updated on Blossom’s condition.
Thank you again! My warmest greetings to you.

The suffering and terrified Blossom was dropped off by someone at the place where I come every day to feed the stray cats. I’m sure this was the case, because she certainly wouldn’t have made it here on her own.
The kitty lies motionless on the tiles of the sidewalk and breathes very quickly through her open muzzle. She looks around terrified. She lifts the front part of her body on her paws, she wants to escape from suffering, from fear. But the back paws do not listen to her and with every movement Blossom is paralyzed by pain. Blood drips from the kitty’s bottom.
How terribly Blossom must have suffered! She must have been hit by a car. Was it the perpetrator of this accident who, instead of taking Blossom to a doctor, dropped her off here, hoping that someone would take care of her?
After searching for a while, I find an empty cardboard box under one of the stores. I’m afraid to pick Blossom up, becasue I can cause her even more harm. Therefore, I gently put a piece of hard cardboard under her and carry her to the box, and although I can see the fear in Blossom’s eyes, the kitty does not protest. Perhaps she understood that I want to help her.
At the clinic, the doctor received me and Blossom without a queue. He immediately examined Blossom and took an X-ray of her.
The doctor concluded that the injuries were characteristic precisely of being hit by a car or motorcycle. Poor Blossom has a broken pelvis, her hip bone is quite broken off. Bleeding from the rectum could have two causes: either the broken bone perforated the intestine, or – and this is the better version – simply some blood vessel in the intestine ruptured and is causing the bleeding. We won’t know without surgery.
The only chance to save Blossom’s life is immediate surgery. The doctor makes no guarantees about what the outcome will be, but we must at least try. At the moment Blossom is given strong painkillers and hydrating drips, but that’s all the doctors can do on credit. They will only perform the operation if I can pay for it right away.
I myself have no way to pay for it and I have unpaid bills at the clinic for the treatment of other stray cats. So please, if you can, help raise money for Blossom’s surgery as urgently as possible! She can’t wait!
