Angel and her new home❤️

Dear friends after a long time I have news for you from Angel ❤ Her story touched many of you, and it is thanks to you, together, that we managed to rescue her from the street and give her a chance for a peaceful life.
When Angel was taken from under the car, she was in a very bad condition. She required exceptional care and peace of mind, which – with the amount of work and the number of cats in my care – I unfortunately could not fully provide her with. Therefore, a huge support was my friend from the Maldives, Seema, who opened her heart and home to Angel.
Angel went to live with Seema on one of the quiet, peaceful islands – exactly the kind of place she needed to recover. Recently I managed to visit both of them and… the heart grows! Angel feels good, she is calm, well cared for, and her eyes have that beautiful sparkle again. She is now ready for sterilization and vaccinations, which is a huge step forward.
In the photos you can see Angel in front of her home – modest, like most homes on the islands. Out of respect for Seema’s privacy, we don’t show the interior or too many details – but you can believe me, Angel has ended up in the best possible hands.

Angel requires a lot of care and my attention every day. Her back paws are still very weak due to which the cat is not able to stand up on her own.
The baby needs to be washed at least once a day, go in a diaper and have her eyes washed. Angel is not fond of these activities, but she endures everything very bravely.
The cat’s appetite is increasing day by day, so I believe that she will soon regain her strength

The video is short because I have been fighting the disease myself for the last few days, today it is a little better.

Angel is already in the clinic, I have to bring her here every day. Yesterday she raised her head on her own, today she is a little weaker, but the doctor sees improvement.
Unfortunately, we do not yet have a guarantee whether the kitty will survive, but there is a chance so we are fighting for her health and life.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Together we have collected the amount needed for Angel’s treatment. The kitty is very weak, I feed her every two hours with a syringe because she won’t eat on her own. Tomorrow first thing in the morning I’m going with her to the clinic, she’ll get an antibiotic and IVs, she’ll lie under oxygen, maybe we can already take her blood for tests. I will keep you updated on what is happening with her. And keep your fingers crossed for Angel that she will have enough strength.

Homeless, young Angel is shaking with pain and fear. Pain has accompanied her for as long as she can remember. Memories of her early childhood, in which there was no pain, seem to her only a dream. Angel has learned to live with the pain.
But now it’s worse, much worse. Angel’s whole head is burning her with living fire. One of the back paws, where there is a deep wound with stinking pus, hurts so much that Angel is unable to move it. Angel’s entire existence has now turned into pain, despair and fear. Nothing else exists for her. So Angel closes her eyes and waits for it all to disappear. For the whole world to disappear and with it this terrible pain. To make it all go away.
Angel took refuge under a parked car. She had to crawl here somehow, because she is so weak that she is unable to walk. And besides, her paws are entangled in a long red string. When I look under the car, the kitty looks at me with fear and helplessness. She meows, but I get the impression that this is not a plea for help. Angel is asking to be left alone. To let this all end as soon as possible. But it seems to cost her too much effort to lift her head, because in a moment her little head drops and her eyes close on their own.
How is it possible that a helpless creature dies in the middle of a busy street and no one comes to her aid!
When I pull Angel out from under the car, she gathers the rest of her energy and begins to struggle desperately, trying to free herself. But after a while she sinks from her strength and, already completely inert, allows herself to be picked up and put into a cardboard box.
I take the baby to the clinic.
The doctor examined Angel and announced that her condition is critical. There is a deep infected wound on her paw, and another on her belly. The kitty’s head is covered all over with scabies, which has turned the skin into a thick, cracked shell that reeks of rot. Angel is so weakened and dehydrated that the doctor was unable to draw her blood for testing. He only gave her an antibiotic drip and a second, nutritional-hydration drip. Then he put Angel under oxygen for an hour. He partially removed the shell from her head and treated her wounds. Angel was also given strong painkillers. After these treatments, I had to take her home.
According to the doctor’s recommendation, I give Angel liquid food every two hours with a syringe into her muzzle. Every day I have to drive her to the clinic for antibiotic administration, a strengthening drip and for her to lie down under oxygen. In addition, the doctor will continue cleaning and disinfecting the wounds and head.
The doctor made the first visit on credit, but for the next visit I must already have money. Therefore, I am very much asking you to help Angel. She seems to have come to believe that there is such a thing as life without pain. I see in her now a great will to live, although the doctor does not want to promise that the kitty will survive.
Please help save this little one. Let Angel have a chance to feel for the first time what it is like to live without suffering.
