- The Privacy Policy defines how the Administrator collects, stores and uses information about users visiting the Administrator’s website/domains.
- The administrator of the personal data is Animals Rescue Team Foundation based in Warsaw (02-591), Stefan Batory 18/108, KRS number: 0001142885, NIP: 7011236299
- In order to ensure due and effective protection of personal data, the Administrator shall comply with the principles of personal data protection and all legal regulations provided for in the Personal Data Protection Act and the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: RODO).
- The personal data controller uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data such as:
(a) DNSSEC security
b) SSL certificate
c) ongoing audit of the site and security features, ongoing updating of software
d) the Administrator has entrustment agreements in place with the entities to which it entrusts data
e) verification of IT system providers and payment operators
f) ongoing updating of documents and procedures for the protection of personal data
g) Administrator performs ongoing data backup
h) only authorized persons have access to data - The Administrator shall exercise due diligence to adequately secure the personal data provided and, in particular, against their disclosure to unauthorized persons.
- The person whose personal data is processed may contact the Administrator at the e-mail addresskontakt@animalsrescueteam.pl or at the registered address.
- The Administrator shall, pursuant to this Privacy Policy, process personal data provided to it by the user:
(a) in the process of making donations through the animalsrescueteam.pl website
b) when signing petitions on the actions conducted by the Administrator,
c) during the use of the application/contact form posted on animalsrescueteam.pl/contact,
d) in a situation when a person using the site, decides to provide with his/her personal data to the Administrator, e.g. gives permission to send commercial and marketing information in the form of a newsletter,
e) by sending Premium SMS. After sending an SMS, the Administrator is in possession of the phone number from which the SMS was sent. - The Administrator, applying the principles under the RODO, applies the principle of minimization of personal data processing. The Administrator collects the following data:
(a) first and last name
b) e-mail address
c) telephone number
d) IP address (collected automatically)
- The administrator, may also process other personal data if voluntarily provided by the website user.
- The Administrator processes data for the following purposes:
(a) performance of its legal obligations, including those related to the execution of donations – financial and accounting settlement (legal basis – Art. 6 (1) c. RODO),
b) verification of donations made (legal basis – art. 6 par. 1. f RODO)
c) to perform marketing and promotional activities, where the data subject has consented to the sending of commercial and marketing information (legal basis – Art. 6. 1. a RODO),
d) to protect and assert claims (legal basis – Article 6(1)(f) RODO),
e) maintenance and operation of the website (legal basis – Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) RODO)
(f) use of cookies – (legal basis – Article 6(1)(a) and (f) RODO),
g) to conduct correspondence, including electronic correspondence:
– to enable the Administrator to contact the data subject. Actions may consist of sending an email, based on the granted consent expressed by a voluntary action, such as sending a message through a contact form (legal basis – Article 6(1)(a) RODO and Article 9(2)(a) in case of sending “sensitive data”);
– receiving letters/notifications/requests (e.g. complaints, complaints, other requests);
– Providing interested parties with information on collections carried out - The basis for the processing of personal data is the consent of the person providing the data, actions to implement the donation, actions taken for the submission of petitions/requests and the legal obligation of the Administrator.
- Provision of data is voluntary, however, in some cases, if personal data is not provided, the Administrator will not be able to take appropriate actions. Providing a certain set of data is necessary to make a donation, sign a petition or use the application/contact form.
- The Administrator does not share data with third parties. However, the Administrator may share data with third parties as part of the services they provide to the Foundation (the Administrator), in particular IT, hosting, accounting and legal services. However, these entities do not have the right to use personal data for purposes other than those specified by the Administrator.
- The Administrator is authorized to enter into data entrustment agreements for the following matters:
(a) implementation of the service of destruction and archiving of documentation,
b) provision of various technological and organizational solutions to ensure efficient management (in particular, to ICT service providers, equipment suppliers, courier and postal companies, PayU, social media entities, entities providing mailing services – newsletter),
c) implementation of legal, insurance, accounting, auditing, consulting services.
d) implementation of other IT services, in particular the provision of a server, access to e-mail. - As a general rule, your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or international organization, however, such a situation may occur in connection with the use of cloud solutions, and with the outsourcing of certain services/activities to entities based outside the EEA or processing data outside the EEA (software provider/marketing tools/social networks). Personal data may be transferred to third countries (countries outside the EEA) or entities in third countries for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection, standard data protection clauses have been applied in contracts with these entities, or appropriate other safeguards have been applied, as referred to in generally applicable laws.
- Due to the possibility of making donations through the payment operator PayU, the Administrator informs that PayU is a separate administrator of personal data for activities performed for the purpose of payment processing. The PayU website contains the operator’s privacy policy . After the payment is made, the Administrator receives information from PayU about the persons who made the payment (donation).
- The Administrator shall keep personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was provided and for archiving of ongoing cases. The length of the personal data processing period depends on the purpose for which the data are processed.
- The administrator is entitled to store personal data until the statute of limitations for possible claims (as a rule, the term is 6 years from the occurrence of the event giving rise to the claim).
- Personal data provided for the purpose of making a donation is kept for the following period:
(a) a period of 6 years from the end of the calendar year in which the donation was made, in order to protect against possible claims related to the donation made (Article 6(1)(f) of the DPA),
(b) a period of 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the donation was made, as a result of financial and accounting regulations related to the settlement of the donation (Article 6(1)(c) of the DPA). - Personal data provided for the purpose of receiving marketing and commercial information from the Administrator, the Administrator keeps until you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data provided for this purpose.
- A person whose personal data is processed has the right to:
(a) access to his/her personal data,
(b) rectification of his personal data,
(c) erasure of his/her personal data,
(d) to restrict the processing of his/her personal data,
e) object to the processing of data

- The Privacy Policy applies only to websites owned by the Administrator. The Administrator’s website may contain links to other websites. The Administrator’s Privacy Policy does not apply to links to other websites or services provided by third-party providers.
- The Administrator does not guarantee the privacy standards of other websites and is not responsible for the content of other websites. The Administrator’s Privacy Policy does not apply to any external sites, payment providers, software or otherwise. The Administrator recommends reviewing the privacy policies of sites linked to the Administrator’s website or to which a person is redirected.

a) Functional – cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the website, they are used to remember, for example, login sessions, language preferences, filling out forms, selected privacy option. b) Analytical – cookies (optional) allow you to check the number of visits and sources of traffic to our store. They help determine which pages are popular and determine how users navigate the site. The user can manage them in the cookie settings

- The Administrator will inform users of the change in the Privacy Policy by posting information on the website in a prominent place.
- Any change to the Privacy Policy also requires the new version of the Privacy Policy to include the date from which the changes are effective.
