In Malé, where life for homeless cats is challenging, there is a place where people have long been feeding these needy creatures. Among the countless cats that come here for a bit of food and peace and quiet, this little girl stands out for her extraordinary gentleness. She tenderly strokes every cat that approaches her, as if she understands their difficult daily lives.

Whenever I see moments like this, it touches me deeply. This sight reminds me how much depends on small gestures of kindness – from the little ones and from all of us. It is Malé children like her who are the hope for a better future for these animals – full of care, love and compassion.

PS. The father of the girl, of course, gave permission to publish the video and is very proud of his daughter 🙂
